Here’s exactly how the good-for-you ingredients in our addictive Raw Protein Bars can benefit you:

Raw Protein Bars

1. Fermented Rice Protein

Rice Protein provides your body with high-quality protein, essential amino acids, Vitamin B and E, and lots of gut-loving fibre. The natural process of fermentation means that the phytonutrients, antioxidants and amino acids in the rice are preserved. It also provides highly digestible proteins, minerals, vitamins, enzymes and healthy bacteria. Rice Protein is the most hypoallergenic form of protein available, compared with soy and whey. This means you don’t have to worry about the bloating and digestive discomfort some protein powders can cause! It supports muscle growth, helps improve exercise recovery and is highly bioavailable.

2. Sprouted Pea Protein Isolate

Derived from (you guessed it) peas, Pea Protein Isolate is considered one of the best plant-based protein sources thanks to its broad amino acid spectrum and high protein concentration. When you sprout and ferment legumes, the nutrients become more bioavailable. This means that when you consume them, they are better digested, absorbed and metabolised by the body. Pea protein is low carb and naturally free of common allergens like soy, wheat, gluten, dairy and lactose. The combination of Pea Protein and Rice Protein we use in our Raw Protein Bars forms a complete protein! This means it contains all the essential amino acids required by the body from food, so it’s great for vegans, vegetarians, people with allergies, athletes or those wanting to increase their protein intake.

3. Prebiotic Fibre

If you’re someone who struggles with poor digestion and gut issues, you may want to look at whether you’re getting enough fibre in your diet. Prebiotic fibre helps feed and nourish the good bacteria that exist naturally in your gut, promoting a balanced digestive system. These good bacteria help ward off pathogens in your intestinal tract and help with constipation. The Heart Foundation recommends that adults should aim to consume about 25–30g of fibre each day. With 4g of prebiotic fibre per bar, our Raw Protein Bars are a delicious way to help meet your daily goal (and keep you regular!).

4. Vegan Dark Chocolate

Yes, that’s right: dark chocolate has impressive health benefits! Made from the seed of the cacao tree, it’s one of the best sources of antioxidants in the world. Scientific studies have shown that dark chocolate is rich in phytonutrients called flavonoids, which are plant chemicals that act as antioxidants. Antioxidants scavenge free radicals from our cells, helping to reduce inflammation and counteract oxidative stress. Dark chocolate (70% or higher) is also a good source of fibre, potassium, calcium, copper and magnesium! Drizzled in dairy-free dark chocolate and filled with dark chocolate chips, our Raw Protein Bars are the ultimate healthy indulgence.
